Recipe: White Wine Fruit Salad

Yield: 8 Servings
2 tb Sugar
1/2 c Dry white wine
1 1/2 ts Grated lemon rind
2 tb Fresh lemon juice
4 c Honeydew balls or cubes
4 c Cantaloupe balls or cubes
1 c Seedless green grapes
Lettuce
In a shallow serving bowl, dissolve sugar in a mixture of wine, lemon rind, and lemon juice, stirring constantly. Gently add fruit. Chill two hours, tossing occasionally.
