Recipe: Jalapeno Cheddar Toasts

8 oz Aged cheddar cheese,
-- shredded
1/2 c Light cream cheese, cubed
2 tb Finely diced red bell pepper
2 tb Minced jalapeno peppers
2 tb Finely chopped parsley
36 Baquette slices, cut 1/3
-- inch thick
In a food processor, puree cheddar and cream cheese until very smooth. Transfer to a bowl; stir in red pepper, jalapeno peppers and parsley.
Spread bread slices with a generous teaspoonful of cheese mixture; arrange on baking sheets.
Bake in oven for 10 to 12 minutes ( up to 15 minutes if frozen ) in 375øF preheated oven. Bake until tops are puffed and edges toasted. Serve warm. Yield: 36 appetizers Source: Fast & Easy Cooking.
