Recipe: Chinese Barbecue Sauce - Char Sui

1/2 c Sherry
4 Cloves garlic 6 tb Soy sauce 2 ts Plum sauce 2 tb Black bean paste 6 tb Hoisin sauce 2 ts Salt
1 1/2 ts Chinese 5-spice
1/2 c Sugar
Mix together well. Heat in double boiler - add cornstarch for thickening.
